Been Stitching

I really have been stitching. I am working on Christmas pressies and I don't want them seen, until the person/persons have my stitching in their hands. :D

Rose

This is my first scan of a small Rose I am stitching for my MIL. This is a San Man Original Design. This is going to be a gift for her. She does not know I have a blog and she does not read blogs, so I am safe showing this here. :)

Unlike 2 other gifts I am making. The bell pull and needle roll will have to be posted after Christmas, when she gets them. :)

Autumn Queen

This is what a completed AQ looks like.

This is my progress so far on Autumn Queen by Mirabilia Designs.

I am stitching her on 28 count Jobelan. The color is English Rose. I love the color combination of floss and the fabby. :)

You will be sick of seeing my progress I am sure, but I do plan on working on her on and off until Christmas. Then after Christmas I will concentrate on just stitching her. :)

Mail Art

This is my first mail art. Since my "partner" received hers, I will now post the pic.

This is the front. I blacked out the addresses.

This is the back. This is the 4th time for me to do button holes. I was proud it worked out so well. :)

It was really hard to part with my stitching and not have it "protected". Surprisingly she got it all white. :)

I am still working on Autumn Queen. I forgot how much fun it is to stitch on evenweave. I love the colors!

Autumn Needle Roll

This is a San Man Original Design. I made into a small needle roll. Yes I know I goofed a little, but I did learn a lot. :) After all this was my first needle roll.

I dyed the fabric myself. I love how the yellow turned out.

Biscornu

I completed my first Biscornu. Well, sort of, I still have to find the "Perfect" button for it, but no biggie. :)

Biscornu is a French adjective that means "that which has an irregular form, with projections" or "complicated and bizarre."

This is a EMS freebie. I modify it a bit because I don't want a big boarder for it. This is just the top part. I am working on the bottom now. :)

Stitching

Hello this is my 3rd Blog. This is strictly about my stitching. I have been cross stitching on and off for 17 years. Darn I am old. I could not stitch while my kids were little because needles, floss, fabric and juice does NOT mix.

I like to stitch all sorts of different things. Over the years my taste have changed many times. Since the internet my eyes have been opened to different designers. I am still discovering designers that I love.

I know I will never stitch every single chart I have, but I can try. :) I love new stash, be scissors, floss, fabric, or needles. I just love everything about stitching. It is my addiction and I refuse to give it up! :)

So happy Stitching.
